It is with a heavy heart that I bid my lovely friend Pat, so loved by all who knew him, my final adieu. My prayers go out to Pat’s loving family and friends to provide strength throughout this difficult day of farewell and throughout the days and years to follow, as his physical departure becomes ever more pronounced through memories of shared special historical moments and those yet to come. But rest assured that his spiritual presence is infinite and will serve not only as that so-needed strength, but also as a source of unity in love, laughter, and good will.
