I can only think that the Lord led me to this notice of Nancy’s departure…six years ago (during the Christmas season in 2023). Folks still speak of “synergy” in team settings today…the productive contribution of team members adding up to more than the whole because of the dynamics of the team. It very rarely occurs: an elusive cliche. The secret ingredient in these rare circumstances where it does occur is the leader that emerges “naturally” through his or her actons in the team. This would be Nancy. A rare gifted human, dedicated mother and dear friend. Always making a difference, and insistent in doing so, stubbornly never giving up.
What I remember the most about Nancy is her love for her children, unfettered, regardless of any and all challenges, Always placing them first. Second, she had an unwavering knack for spotting unusual, non conventional leadership talent in folks. Talent that others most often overlooked. She was one of the best I have observed in this over a 40-year career.
She was indeed a Motivator for friends, colleagues, and loved ones. She lived for them. She discovered the real of purpose of life, early on..living for others…and kept on that mission. We all benefited for her character and zeal.
My best to her daughters and extended family. Rest assured the Lord is still employing her today.

I am the Director of Pathways in Summit. Nancy was a Patient Educator for Pathways for a short time, sharing her cancer experience with doctors and students in the healthcare field. She was an amazing person and speaker and touched many. I am so sorry that I have just learned of her passing now. I am so incredibly sad and miss her. I send you much love.

Nancy was a lovely and courageous lady. Though our interactions were short, just at Dr. A's office, it was always good to hear about her activities and travel plans. I am sure she will br greatly missed.

Sherri, Ted, Michelle and Jenny and your family at large... I am so sorry to hear that your mom passed away. Since meeting you when the girls were little, your mom has always been youthful and vibrant and honest and kind to me. I am so terribly sorry you have to suffer this loss. The grandkids must also be so devastated. Please know that you are in our thoughts! When I think of your mom, I think of a great laugh, like you and Denise and a very friendly and fun attitude. We extend our deepest sympathy at the passing of Nancy.
I only knew her for the past few years when she became the companion of Neil and often joined us at the Somerville and Bridgewater Rotary. She was a pure joy and often helped at some of our fundraisers. We saw her go through her battle with cancer and she was always smiling.
Nancy will be truly missed by many folks. God's blessing on her family and friends.

We were so sad to get the news that our dear friend Nancy had passed away and would like to offer our deepest condolences to her family, sister Janice, children Sherri, Denise and Matt and to all her grandchildren and family and friends.
We will really miss her ! She was a truly wonderful friend, colleague and mentor over many years.
I worked with Nancy at J&J and remember her warmth, support, good advice and guidance through difficult times. Then when Catherine and I moved to New Jersey back in 2001 she gave us so much help and love - and most importantly welcomed us into her family and we remember so many happy times with her - barbecues and parties in Floreham Park and our place in Morristown, diner breakfasts, concerts, steaks at Arthur's - alot of happy times together !
We moved back to Europe in 2005 but kept in touch and were delighted that Nancy and Sherri were able to come to our wedding a few years later in Belgium.
And on our trips back to the US - for work and pleasure she was always ready to drop everything to meet up again, reconnect, swap stories and share experiences.
Nancy - it was a privilege to be your friend and we will miss you !
