To my Dear Friend Marie & most wonderful Family , you have my deepest sympathy at this very sad time. I only wish that there were words of comfort I could express to you BUT... I when a loved one passes away, it seems that there are no words of comfort to ease the pain felt by all . So my dear Friend, I extend to you , hand in Friendship IF you may need me, an ear to listen IF you choose, and a place to come visit if you would like some company for a while. Dukie, was a kind & wonderful man who had a hardy laugh & great smile & fun sense of humor! I will never forget how both of you ALWAYS made me feel like Family. I treasure our times shared ! God Bless all of you & may his Soul Rest In Peace.

To Marie and the Children and Grandchildren - I wish to extend my most sincere condolences on the passing of my very dear friend - Louis "Dukey" De Mary. I had a long history of friendship with Dukey. Your Husband and Father and Grandfather was a true member of the Old School of Newark, New Jersey. We bonded years ago because we held to the same principles of honor, loyalty and respect. May Louis "Dukey" De Mary's memory be for a blessing and a source of great comfort for the family. With Love and Respect from Myron Sugerman.

Dukie was a standup guy and you never had to second guess when he said something.
His word was his bond. He was old school and valued his friends. He'll truly be missed.
He chose to isolate himself so as not to subject his friends to what he knew he had to deal
with alone, that's the measure of what Dukie was all about .
