Katherine Davies

Katherine Davies, 78, passed away peacefully December 1, 2019.

Katherine was an avid gardener.  Her garden was her sanctuary where she would spend endless hours weeding and picking a bountiful amount of vegetables. You would not leave Katherine's house empty-handed; she would send you home with a bag full of vegetables, especially those delicious N.J. tomatoes. She loved bowling with John, playing bingo, playing slot machines at the casino, and late-night poker on her computer. She especially loved the annual trip she would take with her family where many cherished memories were made. Most of all Katherine loved her family. She will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.

Beloved wife of 55 years to John Davies.  Devoted mother of John, his wife Randi, Kimberly and her husband David.  Cherished grandmother of Nicole, Josh, Brandon and Jake.  Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  She is pre-deceased by her parents John and Mamie Dugan and her siblings Mary Emmons and Kenneth Dugan. 

Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, 210 Ridgedale Ave., Florham Park, NJ on Thursday, December 12th from 7-9pm.  Funeral on Friday assembling at the funeral home at 8:45am followed by the funeral mass at St. Rose of Lima Church in East Hanover at 9:45am.  Entombment to be held privately to the family.
