John W. Sweeney, 82, of East Hanover, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on July 8, 2017. John was a self employed master carpenter.
Beloved husband of 53 years to Angelina M. Sweeney. Devoted father of Maria MacTaggart, her husband John, John P. Sweeney and his wife Debra. Loving grandfather of Katie and Christopher. Dear brother of Mary Christensen.
Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home 210 Ridgedale Ave. Florham Park on Tuesday from 2-8pm. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, 11am, at St. Rose of Lima Church in East Hanover followed by the interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
