Jaclyn Elaine “Jackie” LaPoint, 34, passed away on July 10, 2017.

Born in East Hanover, NJ. on August 27, 1982, she was the daughter of Glen and Kathryn (Fernicola) LaPoint.

Jackie was a life-long resident of E. Hanover, prior to moving to Meredith, NJ the past 2 years. She graduated from Hanover Park High School, class of 2001.

Jackie was an active member in her community of E. Hanover, NJ. She was a life member of the E. Hanover First Aid Squad and she was the dispatcher for the E. Hanover Police Department. Most recently, Jackie was a Front Desk Associate for the Inn at Mills Falls, in Meredith, NH.

Jackie was also very involved with many veterans’ organizations. She was responsible for the placement of forty-nine government markers for soldier’s graves from the Civil and Revolutionary Wars.

Jackie is survived by her parents, Glen and Kathryn LaPoint of Meredith, Aunts, Uncles, cousins and many friends.

A memorial visitation will be held at the Leonardis Memorial Home 210 Ridgedale Ave. Florham Park on Saturday, July 22nd from 1-4pm.
