Irene Marie (Connors) Cooper

Irene Marie Cooper, 86, passed away peacefully at her home with her daughter by her side on July 25, 2018.  Irene was born and raised in New York and was a long-time resident of W. Babylon, NY before recently moving to Morristown, NJ. 

Beloved wife of the late George T. Cooper.  Devoted mother of Arlene Zulauf, her husband Frank, and the late Cynthia Cooper.  Dear sister of the lates Eleanor McGovern and Joan O’Callaghan.  Cherished daughter of the lates Florence and Clarence “Sunny” Connors.  She was survived by 3 nieces and many dear friends.

Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home 210 Ridgedale Ave. Florham Park on Monday from 3-7pm, including a prayer service at 6:30pm.  Funeral on Tuesday, assembling at 9am, and leaving at 9:30am to the interment at Calverton National Cemetery in Long Island.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
