Gloria D (Garaffa) Acocella

Gloria D. Acocella (Garaffa), of East Hanover and formerly of Newark, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 6, 2018.  Gloria worked many years as a Superior Court Clerk in Essex County before retiring.

Beloved wife of the late Anthony Acocella.  Devoted mother of Jeannine Zoppi, her husband Joseph, and Diana Acocella.  Loving grandmother of Joseph and David, Anthony, Michael and Marc.  Dear sister of Joseph Garaffa and the lates Sylvester and David Garaffa.  Also many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home 210 Ridgedale Ave. Florham Park on Sunday from 2-6pm.  Funeral on Monday assembling at 10am followed by a mass at St. Rose of Lima Church in East Hanover at 11am.  Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in East Orange.
