Faustina Stefanelli Obituary

Faustina "Tina" Stefanelli (Mascia), 91, of Florham Park, formerly of South Orange, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 17, 2019.  Faustina earned her BS in teaching from Newark State and her PHD from Seton Hall University.  She worked as an educator with the Newark Board of Education for 42 years before retiring.

Beloved wife of 50 years to the late Oreste Stefanelli.  Devoted mother of Cesare Stefanelli, his wife Valerie, Leonard Stefanelli, his wife Lisa, Angela Longo and her husband Arthur.  Cherished grandmother of Nicholas and Nina Stefanelli, Leonardo, Dante and Luca Stefanelli, Arthur IV and Joseph Longo.  Dear sister of Leonard Mascia, his wife Waneta, and the late Alphonse Mascia.

Tina loved to travel, read and do word puzzles. She was the Secretary on the Board of Directors for the Center of Italian Culture, South Orange, and a member of the Casa Italiana, South Orange. Along with her community service to the Italian Culture, she was committed to assisting her friends and neighbors in times of need.
