Eugene “Gino” Montrone, 77, of Mendham Township originally of Bloomfield, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2018.
Beloved husband of 43 years to Vinnie . Devoted father of Gina Montrone. Dear brother of Stella Moschella, Janet Garcia, Sandee Augusto and Vincent Stivali.
Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home 210 Ridgedale Ave. Florham Park on Monday from 3-8pm. Funeral on Tuesday assembling at the funeral home at 9:15am followed by the funeral mass at St Joseph Catholic Church in Mendham at 11am. Entombment Gate of Heaven Mausoleum, East Hanover.
Gino Montrone has been selected for the Humanitarian Award for his consistent and generous charitable work. His annual project called ́Kentucky Care", which has run for nineteen years, delivers several trailer loads of food, clothing, toys and furniture to the Appalachian Region of Kentucky each year. His unwavering persistence, kind spirit, and love for giving have allowed this project to grow throughout the years and has helped many people and families in one of the poorest regions in the United Sates.

Provides air and ground cargo operations, terminal handling, logistical support and air charter services. One of the largest independent service companies at Newark Liberty International Airport.
During Hurricane Hugo, Instant Air Freight was contracted to provide the logistics of emergency lifeline relief to the inhabitants of St. Croix and the Hess Oil Refinery. The provision of continued air emergency operations were the underpinnings of survival for the island inhabitants and Hess Oil personnel.
