Carmen T. DiSarno, 92, a Florham Park resident of 70 years, passed away peacefully at his home on September 17, 2017. Carmen grew up in Orange NJ and then moved to Florham Park. Carmen was a WWII US Navy Veteran. He was an industrious young man, and was employed at Airco Corporation for many years. He was a member of the Florham Park Senior Citizens and an active member of the Morris YMCA. Carmen was also an avid traveler, gardener and enjoyed music and current events. He volunteered for many organizations, and was very helpful to others.
Beloved husband of the late Anna M. DiSarno. Devoted father of Roxanne Founds, Charles DiSarno, and Carla DiSarno who was his loving caregiver for many years. Cherished grandfather of Michelle, Hallie, Brandon, Dale and Andrew. Also, was Great-grandfather of Mia. He is survived by three sisters and one brother.
Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home 210 Ridgedale Ave. in Florham Park on Wednesday from 5-8pm. Funeral on Thursday assembling at 10am followed by a service at the Funeral home at 10:30am. Interment at Somerset Hills Memorial Park in Basking Ridge.
