Carmela Comune, 86, of Newark, NJ and Avella (Av), Italy, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2017. 

Beloved wife of the late Maurizio Comune.  Devoted mother of Francesco Comune, his wife Doris, Alfonsina Comune, her husband Tony Sabidussi, Teresa Comune De Carlo, her husband Vincent, Antonio Comune, his wife Matilde, Petronilla Comune Freda and her husband Orlando.  Loving grandmother of Joshua; Gianna, Lena and Dario; Andrea and Vincent; Maurizio and Marcello; and Giuliana.  Dear sister of Michelina, Giuseppe and the late Paulo.

Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home 210 Ridgedale Ave. Florham Park on Friday from 4-8pm.  Funeral on Saturday assembling at 10am followed by the funeral mass at St. Rose of Lima Church in East Hanover at 11am.  Burial will take place at a later date in Italy.
