Biagio Pelaggi, 95, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on November 5, 2017. Biagio was born in Serra San Bruno, Calabria, Italy and a long-time resident of Livingston, NJ. He founded Biagio Pelaggi & Son Monument Works in 1977 where he worked side by side with his son Gabriele who became the 4th generation of stone cutters, and now carries on the family legacy through Gabriele Pelaggi Monuments, Inc.

Beloved husband of 56 years to Carmela Pelaggi (Del Mauro). Devoted father of Gabriele Pelaggi, his wife Margaret, Francesca Pelaggi, Maria Romano and her husband Robert. Cherished grandfather of Nicholette and Gabriele Biagio Pelaggi, Alexa and Lisa Romano. He is also survived by his nephews Joseph and Frank Principe along with his nieces Fiorella and Franca of Italy.

Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home 210 Ridgedale Ave. Florham Park on Thursday from 5-9pm. Funeral on Friday assembling at 8:45am followed by a mass at St. Rose of Lima Church in East Hanover at 9:45am. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
