Anthony J. Rega, Sr. “Tony”, 87, of Whippany, formerly of East Hanover and Orange, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2018. Tony served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He lastly worked at Brooks Brothers in Short Hills and Volunteered at St. Clares Hospital in Dover and Care-One in Whippany. Tony enjoyed cooking, music, classic cars, sports and making birdhouses.
Beloved husband of 60 years to Catherine C. Rega (Castiglia). Devoted father of Anthony J. Rega, Jr., his wife Karen, and Michael A. Rega. Grandfather of R.J Search. Great-grandfather of Mason. Dear brother of William Rega. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home 210 Ridgedale Ave., Florham Park on Saturday from 9am – 11am followed by a service at the funeral home at 11am. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
