Obituary
Alfonse Imperiale, 66, formerly of Belleville and Newark, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on April 21, 2018. Alfonse was a National Guard Veteran and worked 46 years in law enforcement as the retired Police Captain from the NJ Transit Police Department and the Homeland Security Director of Critical Infrastructure for Morris County Prosecutors Office. He was also an Executive Member of the Italian American Police Society.
Beloved husband of 43 years to Joanne Imperiale. Devoted father of Jennifer Reiser, her husband Eric, Alan Imperiale, his wife Melissa, Dominic Imperiale and his wife Kelly. Cherished grandfather of Olivia, Jason, Camryn, Victoria, Sienna and Giuseppe. Dear brother of Joan Procopio and the late Steven Imperiale.
Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home 210 Ridgedale Ave. Florham Park on Wednesday from 2-8pm. Funeral on Thursday assembling at 8:45am followed by a mass at St. Rose of Lima Church in East Hanover at 9:45am. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
