Lillian Corbett, 53, of Florham Park, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 7, 2024.
Lillian was born on June 23, 1970 in Jersey City, New Jersey. She was a graduate of Morris Catholic High School and obtained both an undergraduate and master’s degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She married Michael A. Corbett, Jr. in April of 1994 and moved into their longtime family home in Florham Park, New Jersey shortly thereafter. Lillian is mother to three children - Michael (26), Adam (24) and Lily (21), whom she adored and devoted all of her time and effort into raising and caring for. Many also knew Lillian from her time at Reed Elsevier and Calvary Nursery School.
Some of her other great passions in life included rescuing her seven dogs that she loved dearly, visiting the beach, taking long road trips with her family throughout the country, decorating her home and crafts, and volunteering for numerous charities. Lillian also enjoyed listening to her music, visiting her children in college, writing, and spending time with her family and friends.
Beloved wife of 30 years to Michael Corbett. Devoted mother of Michael Corbett, Adam Corbett and Lily Corbett. Cherished daughter of Biagio and Lillian DeSantis. Dear sister of Michael DeSantis, his wife Jacqueline, Christine Young and her husband Scott. Also survived by many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, she will be greatly missed by all.
Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc., 210 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park on Monday from 4-7pm. Funeral on Tuesday, assembling at the funeral home at 9am, followed by the funeral mass at Holy Family Church in Florham Park at 10am. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in E. Hanover.
