I worked with Bob in the Johnson & Johnson Audit Department and have known Bob for about 40 years. Bob would come down for lunch 4 or 5 times an year and in fact we just had a lunch on August 24th, with Bob, Bob Caruso, Ed Paris , Rich Grant and I. Bob's sage advice, calm, even demeanor and sense of humor will be missed. You will be missed and I wanted to hear just one more story from our days traveling around the world.

I've been a friend of Bob,s for over 40 years and just had lunch with him on Thursday August 24th along with three other J&J retirees Bob Caruso, Rich Grant and Dick Hopkins. Bob was his usual upbeat humorous self relating the stories of his many recent travels around the world. He was also looking forward to his upcoming trips. I was totally shocked about his passing. I'm going to miss getting together with him and sharing so many great memories.

I worked with Bob at Johnson & Johnson in the audit department for four years. What a great guy, mentor and friend. Just had lunch with him last Thursday with other colleagues Rick Grant, Ed Paris and Dick Hopkins from Johnson & Johnson. Bob was his usual self, always with his outstanding sense of humor and wit. We talked sports, travel, and Seton Hall basketball. He taught me so much about how to be a professional and gave meaning to the words "work hard" but "enjoy the ride." I love this guy, and in reading the other condolences, can see how he was loved and will surely be missed.

I worked with Bob for many years at A&P and I know that I will be only one of numerous people who will be saying over the next few days what a great honor and pleasure it was to work with him. He is a man of genuine kindness and integrity and truly was one of the bright spots of working at A&P. I am so sad today but thankful to have known him. My sincerest condolences to Bob's family, Sheryl Schermer

I'm proud to have known Bob for over 30 years. He was my mentor at A&P, my closest friend over the ensuing years and as close to a member of my family as any of my brothers. From the over 30 to over 40 to over 50 basketball leagues, frustrating days on the golf course and the many weekend road trips with his close circle of friends, Bob was a constant for stories of days gone by, big laughs, sports statistics and history. Ultimately, regarding sports, movies, books or any category he was usually if not always always right. He left this earth way too soon and I will miss him dearly. My heart goes out to his entire family but especially his son Jeff who has suffered too many losses in his young life than anyone deserves. May you all somehow find peace in this solemn time.

I've known Bob since our Little League days (1955 West Orange Twp. Little League Champs!). A group of us continue our camaraderie to this day as "Hazel Avenue Alums", named for a local playground where we constantly tested each others skills in baseball and basketball.
Bob was a very steady, pleasant, witty guy. I never heard him say a harsh word about anyone (with the exception of our opponents, maybe :o), and I never saw him angry. Robert A. Keenan was one very fine, exceptional human being. I'm blessed to have known him, and to call him one of my very best friends.
My sincere condolences to the Family.
