Ralph Dellanno, Sr., 88, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2018. Ralph was a long-time resident of Florham Park, and was formerly of Newark, East Orange and Maplewood. At the young age of 19, he opened Ralph's Market in Newark for 20 years. He then worked the next 25 years at Mayfair Foodtown Corp. and finished his butcher career at Barth's Market in New Providence. Ralph was a die hard NY Yankee, Giants and Rangers fan. He also was an active member of the Father's Club at Seton Hall Prep.
Beloved husband of 62 years to Peggy Dellanno. Devoted father of Ralph, his wife Barbara, Rick, his wife Kathleen, Ron and his wife Diane. Loving grandfather of Paul and Mark, Laura, Ricky and Danielle, Michael and Bianca. Dear brother of Ginger, Louise, Anna and Anthony. Ralph is pre-deceased by his parents Fortunato and Rachela, and his siblings Tom, Catherine, Antoinette and Antonio.
Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home 210 Ridgedale Ave. Florham Park on Wednesday from 4-8pm. Funeral on Thursday assembling at the funeral home at 9:30am followed by a Mass at St. Vincent Martyr Roman Catholic Church in Madison at 10:30am. Interment at East Ridgelawn Cemetery in Clifton.
