Marie Sidelko Rigler, 100, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2017.  Marie was born near Wilkes-Barre, PA. She attended school there and worked locally until moving to New Jersey in 1940.  After establishing a business designing and making custom clothing for women, she attended The Fashion Academy in New York City. She and her husband, Bert, built a home and moved to Florham Park in 1951. Ultimately, her career took her to B. Altman & Co., an upscale department store located in Short Hills, NJ, where she served for 20 years as Group Department Manager, retiring in 1979. She had a passionate work ethic and was devoted to her family, church and country. She was a regular attendee at The Rosary Society and Florham Park Seniors.

Marie is predeceased by her husband, Bertrand James Rigler; brother-in-law George Quinn; her grandson, Mark Edward Straub, great grandson Justin John Straub, and son-in-law, John Edward Straub.

Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Morrison; grandchildren Michael John Straub (Kristina), and Monica Straub Kendrick (Jim); great grandchildren Brittany, Michael, Chad, Casey, Jeremy, Lindsey, Kassidy and Colby Straub; great great grandchildren Madison, Lilly Ann, and Amelia Straub and Paisley Johnson.

Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home 210 Ridgedale Ave. Florham Park on Friday, December 8th from 7-9pm.  The funeral mass will be held on Saturday, December 9th, 10am at Holy Family Church in Florham Park.  Marie will rest with her husband in the Gate of Heaven Mausoleum in East Hanover, following the funeral mass.
