Marie DeAngelis, 87, of Whippany, formerly Newark, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on May 16, 2017, after a courageous battle with cancer.  Marie was a manager at Bell Atlantic in East Orange over 30 years before retiring.  She was a self taught water colorist for 15 years, along with being an excellent baker and cook.  Marie also was the family historian (art of the story). 

Dear sister of Tommaso DeAngelis, his wife Joyce, the late Michael DeAngelis and his wife Dianne.  Loving aunt of Denise, Thomas, Michael, Michael, Marisa and Michele.  Great- aunt of Tommaso, Marcello, Michael and Matthew.  Pre-deceased by her parents Luisa and Benvenuto DeAngelis. 

Visitation at the Leonardis Memorial Home 210 Ridgedale Ave. Florham Park on Friday from 4-7pm.  Funeral on Saturday assembling at 9am followed by a committal service and Entombment at Gate of Heaven in East Hanover at 10:15am.
