Jack,
I read your write up today in the Star-ledger and I feel the same way exactly about my dear wife Agnes Cappozzi-Fusco. It's going to be a rough road with this great loss.
One day at a time!
God's blessing to you and ASK Jesus for help as I do.

We miss Carmella so much. She was beautiful, and very caring. She brightened up a room when she walked in. My sisters and I will miss our getting together for birthdays and holidays. She cared about people and always had a kind word if you were going through a rough time. Always had time to listen.
She fun to be with. That beautiful smile will be missed by us.
May she be resting without pain, now.
Jack, we love you and will be here for you.
Love and hugs,
Barbara and Ron

Uncle Jack, I am so sorry for the loss of Aunt Carmella. You truly are a devoted husband and it was beautiful to witness. The coming days will be hard but she'd want nothing more than you to have happiness and peace.
Aunt Carmella, I really enjoyed how the past few years we started to meet for lunch with Grandma, Aunt Joanne and you. Wishing we could have had more of those. I always thought it was special I share a birthday with you. I remember when I was a teen and my parents were at the hospital with Pat, you took me to dinner and then when we came home, I showed you my routine for twirling tryouts. You fought a good fight but I know now you fly with the angels, you are with Grandma and your dad and my brother. There are no goodbyes because we will all be together one day. Watch over us. Rest in Peace.
I will miss you. xoxoxo Diane

We met on a blind date with another couple going for ice cream. Sitting together on the #31 bus (So.Orange Avenue) she was looking out of the window ignoring me, so I decided to talk to the back of her head anyway. She was very shy. Had the ice cream, headed back into Newark on the bus, still talking to the back of her head (still ignored) really wanted to see her again so...I asked if I could see a ring she was wearing, said ok, then I started to get off the bus...finally said, "hey give me my ring back! " Held it high and replied, "this is so I see you again." And I did. Best thing I did for a fifteen year old. I truly loved her from the start.

Carmella was a loving, happy, full of fun woman with a quick smile and a welcoming warm charm that everyone loved. Especially children! They were instantly attracted to her, even infants!

Being herself, chatting with family and friends, spending time with nephews and nieces, some gardening and eating at really good diners! Simple pleasures with others was her gift to all. She will be missed beyond expression, especially by me, your adoring and ever loving husband Jack. I'll love you forever, until we meet again!

Jack,

I have known you and Carmela for several decades. In that time, I have never met two people so devoted to each other as you and Carmela. Whenever either of you came to my office, you were more concerned about your spouse's health than your own. Again, whenever I saw you over the past year, your love and devotion for your wife was paramount to all other issues. You fought hard for her which is only a tribute to the love that you had for each other. I am certain that your love for your wife was only exceeded by her love for you. We pray for you and your family that one day this wound will heal. Until then, if ever you need an ear to talk to, you know where to find me.

Jack,

I'm not sure what to say but I wanted to reach out and again offer my deepest condolences. The whole team from Florida Hospital is so heartbroken over the passing of Carmella. Your devotion and love for her was so touching to be able to witness. I wish the outcome had been different, but I am so glad she had the comfort of you by her side throughout her whole journey. Your love for each other was inspiring. I am keeping you in my prayers and hope that you are able to find comfort, peace, and healing in the days ahead. You left an impression on all of us and we miss having you around. You became a part of our CVICU family and we are all thinking of you and praying for you.

There are no words to express how deeply saddened I am by the loss of Carmella. I have been thinking about her a lot over the past few months. I will miss the sound of her voice, her sweet smile, bright twinkle in her eyes and the stories we shared. We had a special bond not only because we were cousins, but we were friends.
Jack, I want to especially express my deepest sympathy to you. I know how much you loved and cared for Carmella. Although she may no longer be with us, she will never truly leave because her wonderful gentle soul will live on in our hearts and minds. She will be our beautiful angel watching over us from heaven.
Rest In Peace my friend...until we meet again.
All my love,

My heart is broken, but I know you are dancing with the angels. Heaven definitely has the best angel now. RIP my friend. I will love you forever.

One of my most special memories of Carmella are that we would sit around the kitchen table with our coffee and some kind of sweet dessert, and we would talk, talk and talk. We shared our hopes, dreams and disappointments. Sometimes we would go out to lunch and hang around for hours. We had a special connection and we shared the same old time values that our mothers had given to us . Carmella listened and understood like no other person in my life. I loved her beautiful smile and her giving heart.
This past year I have missed her so much and have prayed for her recovery - It was not God's will and He called her home. I am sure she was picked up by an Angel and was re-united with all those who have gone before her.
I love you, Carmella and I will miss you until we see each other again.
My deep expression of sorrow for you, Jack and may you feel the healing hands of God on you. Peace be with you.
My condolences to Nunzio, JoAnn, Emil and Rosa and all those who loved her
Peace

You will truly be miss by everyone you touched in your life most of all your family and your husband Jack who adored you and watched out for you.
